Fee for embryo storage??
Hi,
I don't know if anyone has conceived through IVF here, but if you have, please help.
I just got a letter from my clinic telling me that there will be a $165 storage fee per QUARTER!
Is this normal?

Yes, absolutely normal.
My fee was actually higher than that but covered by insurance. I believe I have one of the only, if not the only plan, that covers it.
Check w/ your insurance.

sounds right..I pay $55 a month for storage

I just got the same letter from Li IVF
Sounds like you went to the same place
It's normal. We used to pay 55.00 a month. Now that all the Embryos are being transferred to "their own facility" it is to be payed quarterly. Comes out to the same amount per year.

I think ours is $200 per quarter but it's 100% covered by insurance.
