feeding questions..when to add cereal?

my 10lbs 5 weeks old seems to be hungry even after 6o of breastmilk? the past few days she's only sleeping about 4 hours during the day... still sleeping through the night but always seems hungry during the day...

my mom said maybe to ask the doctor if we can add cereal?

i think i should start with adding formula first...

i just gave her 2 more oz of formula and she finally fell asleep after being awake since 10am... she's due for the 6oz of breastmilk in 1 hour...

should i start adding maybe 2oz of formula to the 6oz pf breastmilk? of add 2 oz to 4oz of breastmilk?

I would ask your PED before you give it to her.

Maybe if you just give her more breastmilk. I know at 5 weeks, my DS would suck down a full 8 oz bottle sometimes.

I would not add cereal, as their digestive system is not mature enough. And, it doesn't really help.
