Feedings for a 3 month old
I am worried that my DD isn't eating enough She eats 6 oz. of formula every four hours for a total of 4-5 times per day. The doctor told us that we would know she is getting enough when she leaves a little bit at the bottom of each bottle - well since she was born she will finish every bottle to the last drop. When we moved her up starting from three ounces to four, she ate the ENTIRE extra ounce.
I don't want to overfeed her either - what is a normal feeding for this age - amount and frequency?

If I remember correctly - I think Ali was drinking the same.
But we would give her some cereal at night and then she went down to 5 ounces

Re: Feedings for a 3 month old
I think that's fine. My DD eats usually about 5 times a day and she takes between 4-6 ounces at each feeding. One time she slept later so she ate only 4 times a day and I asked the dr- he said it was totally fine. She'll eat when she's hungry. And we too, have her eat every 4 hours.

I think that's fine too. I think the range was 24-28oz at 3 months. Ryan is almost 5 months and eats 5 6oz bottles/day - but usually doesn't finish at least one bottle.
