Feeling a bit sad today (long)
I would've been just about 12 weeks pregnant today. I know that I need to move past that, but I can't help feeling a little sad because this is when we planned on telling everyone the good news.... including our daughter.
Well, over the last few days, it seems the baby bug has bitten DD too. While we were playing with her the other day she said "Guys, I'm alone. I don't got brothers & sisters." DH was stunned & I started tearing up. I think she got the idea from our family. Since the m/c, our parents & siblings now know we're TTC & I think they talk to her about how "one day" she'll be a big sister. She loves pointing at little infants she sees & saying "Awwww!".
Yesterday, she was playing dolls with my mother & I & she found an old binky of hers. When she couldn't fit it in the doll's mouth, she turned & asked me if I could get her a real baby so she could give the baby the "pinky". She asked again today for a real baby & I tried to explain to her how they grow in mommy's belly (she wanted to get one at the store ) & that mommy & daddy would try. Well, she walked over to me a few minutes ago & tried to shove a baby doll up my shirt & then pulled it out & said "Ohhh no it's not real yet!" Oh how I wish it could be so easy!
I guess I just feel sad because if I hadn't miscarried, we would be telling her now that she's going to have a real baby. I'm sure this sounds silly, but it's just got me feeling down today. Plus, I'm due to O within a week or so & I'm nervous. Once I O, that's it. I'm in the 2WW & I'm on the path to possibly being heartbroken again.

Re: Feeling a bit sad today (long)
Big hugs for you Danielle.
ETA: I can relate to having DC having baby fever.
My DS is always asking when his baby brother is coming. He's been asking for at least a year or more now. He's seen my sister go through two pregnancys, my 3 cousins and now my BF. He recently asked DH why I don't get a baby from the same place the other girls get theres. It gets me so upset sometimes. I know hes going to be a big bro one day and a good one, I just wish it would happen now rather than later.
: Here's to BFP this cycle.

Re: Feeling a bit sad today (long)
None of what you wrote sounds silly at all. I am so sorry for the loss you had to experience with the m/c.
I also understand what you mean about the anxiety of the 2ww, and what the end will bring.
Know that you have a place to come to and vent!
Hang in there!
