feeling a little paranoid

Hi ladies,

I'm 11 weeks along and my next appt with the OB is Monday. DH & I are enjoying this pregnancy but sometimes I can't help but to be afraid if something is wrong & there are no signs. Is the heartbeat still there? Is the pregnancy still healthy? I was so spoiled going to the RE weekly & getting my sonos but now the routine is different with your OB. My last appt was 8/5 and everything was great. I'm almost off the endomtrin and baby aspirin but still taking folgard.

How does everyone get through the gaps between appts??

Thanks for reading.

Re: feeling a little paranoid

Aw. I remember that feeling with my DD. The weeks in between appointments were total agony. I was so worried that something was going to be wrong and I remember the feeling of relief every time we heard that little heartbeat. And now after having a chemical I'm certain it will be worse when I get pregnant again. Is this your first pregnancy?

Sounds to me that everything is going great with you Chat Icon . My advice is to try to avoid reading anything negative about pregnancy (which I know is difficult especially if you frequent this board). I remember with DD I was always so compelled to read stories and posts about people who were having issues just out of curiosity and of course sympathy. But ultimately, I knew it would only get my wheels going like crazy in my head so for the most part I avoided it, unless I thought it was something I could offer some help or insight with. It's so much easier said than done tho.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Just wanted to wish you good luck. I'm sure you are going to be just fine Chat Icon

Re: feeling a little paranoid

It's rough...After a loss, we are left so jaded and scared.

I don't know how I made it in between appts., honestly. I was always pretty nervous. But, it got so much easier when I started to feel her move. Then, I calmed down a lot.

Just think positive, happy thoughts (I know it's hard, but it's all we can really do).

I wish you a wonderful, easy pregnancy!! Chat Icon Chat Icon
