feeling like a bad mommy
that layla grace post has me REALLY upset all day....i just looked again for an update its horrific. I keep thinking back to all the times i got mad at DD cause she just wanted to help but i just wanted to get things done, for all the times i just wanted to sit down for a min and have a min to myself. I feel like i take to many of these moments for granted from here on out i am going to let her help with whatever she wants, and no matter how mad she makes me i will try to never show it. i am hysterical right now
sorry i just had to vent. DH doesnt understand and i knew you ladies would

Re: feeling like a bad mommy
I was thinking the same thing when I read the parts about how she regrets wishing for bedtime to come sooner, for a nap to be a little longer, for her to be able to sit through an episode of Dora so she can get something done. We have all done that..........and Im sure I will again, but its bittersweet to have to be reminded to not take your DC for granted in such a sad sad way.
Im still crying too if it makes you feel better.

Re: feeling like a bad mommy
I've been sick to my stomach all day over it.
Alexa was SUPER fussy and challenging today and I just sat her in my lap and cuddled with her in the blanket for most of the day. I had PILES AND PILES of work to do, loads of laundry to be done, bathroom to be scrubbed and kitchen to clean but instead I choose to hold my baby close today and pray for a new angel to receive peace and serenity....
