Feeling out of breath before 3rd trimester...
I'm 3 months pregnant and already feeling out of breath sometimes... I know this is normal late in pregnancy, but could it be normal now at 3 months? I am having twins if that affects anything.

Re: Feeling out of breath before 3rd trimester...
the way my sister in law explained it to me - and WHO KNOWS if she's right....
your uterus is expanding, forcing everything else upwards...this leaves less and less room for you to breathe and for your lungs to expand.
i have noticed that i get of breath just doing simple things now - walking up a flight of stairs, etc....
congrats on the twins!!!!!!!!!! I would think in YOUR case - it would mean you may notice things sooner...but again - i'm not positive....you need TWICE as much room!

this in addition to the additional blood volume you have, your body is working harder to keep it pumping.
