Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
I thought it was too early for morning sickness but I have not been feeling great. The only thing that is appealing to me is carbs! Last night, I cut up a bunch of fresh veggies, marinated them and then DH grilled them. When he came inside with them, I couldn't stand the smell! I can't bring myself to eat chicken or fish. I don't feel naseaus, just queasy. I'm living on bagels and cereal! Is this normal at only 6 1/2 weeks?

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
I used to make my mom make me pasta and rice all the time. It seemed to be the onlything that stayed down

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
im the SAME way!!! Fruits and veggies are a definite no no for me right now. I had dry cereal this morning b/c the watermelon I wanted wasnt happening. Bagels and pasta is my usual diet these days. I am dying for potatoes so I'm hoping I can keep them down tonight.
Popsicles are good too.

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
This is when my nausea began as well. There wasn't much that appealed to me until I hit about 17 weeks. I hope it doesn't last that long for you!

I felt the same way and mine started around 5 weeks. I crave carbs. I am living off of pizza, pasta, salad and beans. I cant even think about chicken right now. I hope it gets better.

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
Not too early at all! With my DS I felt wonderful and then at 6wks everything changed. I was horribly nauseous and quesy every day (not all day but, off and on) sometimes so bad I couldn't move off the couch. Thank god this ended by the time I was 10 wks!
With this pregnancy I have felt slight nausea a few days off and on even earlier. Now at almost 6.5 wks it is starting to get worse again This time i am scared b/c I am a SAHM and have no idea how I will manage with my 20 mo old DS!
What got me through it last time:
Salt bagels (one b/f I even got out of bed in the morning (this is key if you wake up sick) and any time I felt nauseous) Saltines throughout the day Ginger ale Soup (i lived on soup)
HTH!

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
Yup...totally normal. For me at 5 weeks I started getting queezy and could only eat carbs as well. Now at 21 weeks I am much better..I still gag every morning but after that, I am fine!! Good Luck!!

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
i ate only macaroni for dinner up until this week--i'm 14 weeks! no meat, few veggies and fruits too. i just couldn't stomach it.
and the morning sickness this time started at before 5 weeks--i couldn't believe it. it went away along with the food aversions. it will get better, i promise! it just may take a while.

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
Hi Allison,
I'm 7 weeks and I told my dr that I've been living on Cheese Its. He said that carbs calm the stomach and stop nausea. It's perfectly normal.

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
I feel the same exact way. I'm about 6 1/2 weeks and I've been eating so much pasta and bread. I feel so much more bloated and nauseous but nothing happens, just queasy feelings. Cant wait for 2nd trimester!

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
me too, I'm about 6 weeks too, and I've been queasy for a few days now on and off. I know I'll regret this, but for now I'm happy about it, makes me feel secure that everythings going ok so far!

Re: Feeling Queasy - 6 1/2 weeks
I'm 6 1/2 weeks too and have been all kinds of queasy. I actually do OK with fruit and cereal but everything else just sounds gross and completely unappetizing to me. Looking forward to the second trimester!
