I just got a notice about my 20 yr HS reunion! 
I thought for sure I would be a Mom by now. by 30 actually

I hate reunions. Their purpose is to compare where everyone is in life. I think it is BS. When I went to my 10 yr I was not married yet & people were like "what are you waiting for?" I was having the time of my life travelling and meeting tons of people. They were the ones missing out in my eyes. ( no offense, but different strokes for different folks). It was so funny b/c I was way better looking than I was in HS & in the best shape of my life. I was confident & happy & STILL people felt the need to point & whisper.  It was sad really.

My 20th will be next year. We didnt have a 10th. There is only one reason I want to go (if we have one) and its petty. I want to come face to face to all the people who used to taunt me for being fat. They can kiss my bony butt now.

My 20th was this year. I liked it more than my 10th.
I think after being out of high school for 20 years, people got rid of that high school mentality. It was good to see old friends & to catch up with people that I never spoke much to in high school & missed getting to know.
Ok the point was ...I'm older than you. I agree age is a state of mind.

My 20th is in 2 years. I went to my 10th and out of $1,200 graduates, only about 30 sent in pictures and things. I did and felt soooo good about myself and my life now.
I will probably go, even if it is just a night out with my dh!!

In the end it rocked though b/c everyone looked about 10 years older ...I got a good laugh out of it
