Feeling restless, anxious and antsy...
The last few days I've felt very on the edge and raw.
My job has been giving me major stress. Things are very up in the air (job security wise) and the quality of the work being produced all around lately has been shoddy at best. It just piles more and more on my team in terms of expectations, client support issues, etc.
I'm just so tired of the divorce. If I never spoke STBX's name again or saw his face, it would be too soon. I just want it DONE! Not so that I can "move on" with John (as many in my immediate network believe), but so that I can feel as my own person and not connected to this turd. I want my name back; I want my identity back. I'm very depressed that I'm spending YET ANOTHER anniversary married to this man (03/25). I feel like I'm never going to be rid of him.
Money is a constant preoccupation of mine. Even though we're not broke or starving, I'm always consumed with do we have enough and the looming recession is always in the back of my mind. Every dollar I spend or check I write fills me with guilt, remorse and despair. I know alot of what I feel concerning this issue comes from living in survival mode for so many years. Having to do without and struggling for every cent in my pocket. There has been times in the last few months where I've considered taking a 2nd job just because it gives me a comfort level with money; like I'm in control.
Can someone tell me this is a phase and it will pass. It seems like the harder I try to gain control of my surroundings, the more it seems to fall apart
