feeling unmotivated
i started doing ww online a few weeks ago. I've done ww two times before - once online and once w meetings - and was always successful.
so the first two weeks i was doing well, lost about 1 pound a week which i was happy with. then i lost my motivation. i'm not counting everyday...and now the scale has gone back up. sigh.
how do you stay motivated? i don't know what's wrong with me.
i just cancelled my online subscription and am thinking of going back to a meeting, starting tomorrow.
if you follow ww, which do you do? how do you stay motivated?

Re: feeling unmotivated
I go to the meetings and I know you are not supposed to do this but I have a scale at home and I weigh myself every morning. It keep sme motivated when I see a loss and if it happens to go up, I know that I have to put in a littl extra that day to be happy at my official weigh in

Re: feeling unmotivated
Motivation can be very difficult to channel...epsecially when there are so many delicious tempting foods out there. Its hard when you don't see immediate results (2lbs a week doesn't show too quickly!) I've been on WW since 2008. I became a lifetime member after 6 months on the plan (I lost 60lbs).
Here are a few ways I stay motivated: You have to keep the end in mind. Before I joined WW I lost 15 lbs and no one noticed. I was very upset because I was so proud of myself. When I joined WW, the weight loss was still gradual (1-2 lbs per week). Most people didn't notice. You might not even notice. But keep the end in mind. 1-2lbs per week seems insigificant- but it adds up. After losing 60lbs, I'm very motivated to keep it off, knowing what I looked like then and now.
Try new foods. I try to spice up my daily routine. If you keep eating the same things you will get bored. In the same way, try new excercises. Take a zumba class or try walking.
Don't deprive yourself. Dip into your allowance points. Have a cheat day. But if you deprive yourself, you'll just end up feeling like you're on a diet. I like to have a small chocolately snack (with no nutritional value) each night. For example, last night I had a Jello chocolate mousse (2 pts). It had no nutritional value but it tasted great! Tonight I'm going out to dinner with my friends..where I will order anything I want.
Go to meetings. I think its a great idea you want to cancel online and go to meetings. I'm lifetime and under goal. I STILL go to meetings. I feel they are a great motivational tool.
Best of luck to you! If you ever need a pep talk- feel free to FM me!
I know its hard, but if you hang in there, the end result is very worth it!
