Feelingoverwhelmed...
Does anyone else feel overwhelmed. I am due in December and feel like I have so much to do, including register. When did everyone register? I don't even know where to start.
I called a daycare yesterday and they are already filled for next yer. Did I wait too long?
Sorry for the vent

Re: Feelingoverwhelmed...
Hi i am due in December also, and I too feel very overwhlemed. I just started my registry a few weeks ago, I have to go back. Theres no way to do it all in one day. But I am in the process of buying a house, so I am hoping we are gonna be in the new house by December, if not I am prob gonna have to move in with my mother in law in the interim of closing and all that. So I am freaking out about having to pack, unpack, order baby furniture that I have no idea where to deliver it to, or where this baby is even gonna be living when he's born. I wish i could be setting up a nursery, but that may not happen as soon as i'd like. And as each week goes by, I am getting more winded, more tired, and more anxiety stricken! So i feel your pain..... I guess just try to relax, thats what everyone keeps telling me. That and "Everything will work itself out"... I hope so... Try to rely on friends and family if you can to get you through. FM me if you want to vent any further. Good luck to you...

Re: Feelingoverwhelmed...
I honestly started registering at around 4 months. it takes a LONG time. I was there for about hours the first time. I actually passed out! I fainted and knocked over a display of bath toys. So of course, I left and went to the hospital -- too long without eating and being on my feet is what all the dr's eventually determined. So seriously, dont' feel silly about starting it early. Give yourself as much time as possible to make many trips, not have to spend the entire time there, and change things if you decide to.
I've now been there 4 times to update my registry. Every once in a while I think of something small to add on or change, so I either do it online or go back to the store if I need to.
There is a lot to plan, to think about, so just give yourself as much time as possible, take people's help where offered, and be confident that it will all get done!

Re: Feelingoverwhelmed...
Each weekend, try to tackle one thing on your list. For example, one weekend we chose the paint and carpeting for the room. One weekend we chose the curtains. One weekend we alloted for the painting of the room. One weekend we registered. One weekend we chose bedding and furniture, one weekend I packed my hospital bag ... You get the point. DOnt worry. Take a deep breath and do one thing at a time. YOu will have plenty of time to accomplish what you want.
