Feet sliding forward and falling asleep on elliptical

Anyone have this happen? I did some research and found that I need to push up off from the heels on my feet more and stand up straight (I may be leaning forward). I will try this and hopefully, this will fix the problem. Just curious if any of you had this problem.......

Yes! This drove me nuts until I realized I was striding forward wrong by using just the front part of my foot. It will go away if you change your stance.

Wow I never knew that! My toes get numb on the elliptical all the time. Thanks for posting this!

It's very common, most people use the elliptical incorrectly. You should always make sure your heels stay down, and keep your shoulders back - like you said.

I seriously thought I was the only one this happened to. I just change position or start pedaling backwards.
