Felicia and other admin assistants...
So I would like to get my bankers a little something, but I have 2 new guys who are Muslim. Would I still give a holiday gift? I don't want them to feel left out, but I also don't want them to think I am nutty TIA

Re: Felicia and other admin assistants...
Regardless of my profession--> my opinion on this matter is as follows---> if YOU celebrate Christmas then you should extend wishes as YOU would to anyone else who celebrates Christmas whether they celebrate or not.
If you celebrate Hannukah or Kwanza or whatever and there are traditions of giving out cards, gifts (or something else entirely) and you feel like extending those traditions to friends outside the faith, then I feel you should do so.
While I would appreciate it if someone outside my faith tried to give me something in accordance with what I believe, I certainly wouldn't feel offended nor would I not welcome or not respect a greeting that reflects their faith.
Does that make sense???

Ah, that's a tough one. Did you have a gift in mind? What are you giving the other bankers?

Re: Felicia and other admin assistants...
thanks guys, I forgot all about this thread. I am not sure what to get them, trying to figure it out. I guess I am going to go ahead and buy for them, I would rather them think I am wrong for doing so rather then have them feel bad for being left out. thanks again
