Femara or Clomid? Quick question?
If Femara does the same thing as Clomid but without destroying your lining, how come the multiple rate is much less? I know Clomid increases your chances of multiples, but what about Femara? Not that I have to have multiples, but I wanted more than one egg to increase my PG chances.
If I need to go that route in a couple of months I'll need to decide between Clomid or Femara? I still have to discuss it with my doctor of course, but what I would need it for is to release more than one egg hopefully to increase my chance of PG every cycle, if Femara doesn't do that I'm not sure if that would work for me or not? So far, I ovulate on my own, it has been taking longer and longer every month for some reason though? I wouldn't need it to help me ovulate, just more than one egg and maybe O sooner? This stuff is so confusing? What do you think? Thanks!

I was on femara (that is what they preferred to use at Carolina Conceptions, so I went with it) and I am pregnant with twins. I actually released two eggs during both of my femara cycles. I also O'd on my own, but I guess they wanted to increase my chances of releasing one or two good eggs.
When it comes to that time, chat with your doctor about your concerns and see what he/she says.
