Fertile Days Question
So I recently started tracking my cycles online since I have been very irregular since going off the pill.
According to what the site says, you are fertile for like 4 days or so out of the month, with varying levels of fertility, dependent on the day, then you ovulate somewhere in the middle of that.
Is that right? Or do people vary here, like people vary everywhere else when it comes to cycles!

Re: Fertile Days Question
I'm pretty sure it's the three days before you ovulate and the day of that are the most fertile.

Re: Fertile Days Question
That is correct....you usually work with a 4 day window....3 days before O and day off.....the closer to O you are the more fertile you are.....you can tell by your CM...it changes through out your cycle.....
But the thing that s*cks is that you really don't know the exact time you O..you will have a temp rise and EWCM but you still don't know the exact time.... so that is why they say to BD every other day starting a week before your most fertile time......uslally after your last day of AF....

Re: Fertile Days Question
Basically sperm live for 24-48 hours while the egg will be present for more like 72 hours so if you have sex 3 days before you ovulate the sperm might already expire whereas if you have sex for a couple of days after you O then the egg is probably still hanging around. HTH

Sperm lives up to 72 hours and once the you ovulate the egg only lives for 12 hours...

Re: Fertile Days Question
What if you BD everyday during that three-four day window period, instead of every other day??
