FET-timeline
So I'm trying to plan ahead with my work schedule. I have to do some travel before my FET.
I don't know what the timeline is for a FET, can you ladies help a sister out?
Monitoring - is it the same as an IVF cycle? Do I need to be there as often? I have no clue what to expect, TIA.

FET-timeline
FET is very different than the fresh cycle - it's WAY easier!
You begin either day 2 or 3 with 1st apt - sono and blood. You begin estrogen then. The doc will bring you back in 2 more times for sono and blood before your embryo transfer which happens anywhere between cd19-23. You will start progesterone approx. 5 days before the scheduled transfer date. My doc does blood 2 days post transfer and then beta 9 days post transfer.
It's a simpler, easier version of IVF and easier than IUI in my opinion. keep in mind your doc may have you on different meds so they may be added to the cycle but what I listed above is pretty stock protocol for the FET.
Good luck!

Re: FET-timeline
Usually transfer takes place on day 19 of your cycle. There are way less monitoring appointments as well(think I had 3 not counting the biopsy). It was something like this Day 2, day 9 was my endometrial biopsy, day 12 , day 16 then of course transfer day 19.
