FET Wednesday
Hi ladies I am having my FET on Wednesday. This is my first transfer so I don't know what to expect. Any tips of what to do before/after? I have heard to have sex the morning off or the day before.. any true to this?

Re: FET Wednesday
you heard TO have sex the morning of or after? Im pretty sure I was told none of that for 2 weeks after transfer. I couldnt do zumba, nothing "bouncy" as the nurse told me.

Re: FET Wednesday
I've spoken to my RE about this who said I can, but I don't have to. After a number of transfers, I can tell you that based on my own experience, it doesn't make a difference. I've had transfers with and without sex the night before and have gotten pregnant both ways.
In my opinion, if it makes you feel more in control like you're "doing something" to impact success, then go for it- it can't hurt- but not doing it beforehand won't hurt your chances either.

FET Wednesday
Good luck. The transfer isn't so bad. Its like an IUI. Some transfers I had literally no pain and others a little bit. I took it easy after transfer. As fr sex I don't think I had sex before but I've heard some woman do because they think it increases their chances. If you are in the mood then go for it.

Re: FET Wednesday
With my successful transfers the waist down was on lockdown from day before until I had a Sonogram around 5 weeks. When I came home after my transfer it was warm foods and beverages and legs elevated for the first 24 hours.
