Fibrocystic Breasts and cysts...

Does anyone have A LOT of bresat cysts? My doctor said it's uncommon to have a lot, but it does happen.

I've been having breast pain but she wasn't too concerned. I'm up to date on all the mammos, sonos etc. She said I have very fibrocystic breasts and wants me to see a specialist. Of course now I'm panickng...

I drink a TON of coffee. Has anyone else found a correlation between coffee and cysts/pain? I've heard a little about this so I'm going to try kicking the habit and see if it makes a difference.

I dont know if i can say i have a lot, but i do have them, and have very very dense tissue. I've had 2 biopsies (neg) because the radiologists were suspicious and extra cautious. My gyn also sent me to a specialist because she just wasnt sure what to do with me, being so young and not wanting me to have biopsies every year after a mammo/sono.

Its a good idea to see the specialist. I saw dr weltz at mt sinai, she was excellent.

I dont drink coffee so cant comment. I also dont have pain, but i did find a benign lump that started all this.
