field station dinosaur museum...anyone been?!!?
my friend wants to go with her kids and mine..never heard of it...it is new...it is a bit pricey..wondering if it is worth it?!?!

My sil took my 2 1/2 yo ds and he wasn't crazy about it. He was scared to go near them. He did however enjoy the gift shop- tons of overpriced dino crap just waiting for an aunt like my sil to come and buy everything my little brat puts in the basket, lol.

I took DS (4) and he LOVED it. He wouldn't go near the smaller first one, the 2nd one he realized it was fake and wanted to go back.
They had 25-30 dinosaurs (some duplicates). The only think DS didn't like was feeding the dinosaur.
DS likes dino so it was good for him. I'd say between 2-8'ish might like it. I don't really know the upper end b/c I don't have a 7-9 year old. It was a nice way to spend the day. Bring food b/c they only have popcorn.

Also, if you don't want to wind up in the over priced junk stand, check the map and go out the way you came in. They don't have a lot of bathroom locations so scope them out too.
ETA: IF you get the triceratops from the right angle, it looks like he's eating a tent...its a cool picture.
