Fill me in: Pretty Little Liars!
I just started watching this on FREE ON DEMAND...
Im very interested in this series but feel so lost! Anyone care to give me some background!!!!

if you havent seen it from the beginning it is very confusing.
its about a group of friends, hannah, aria, spencer, emily and allison.
the first ever episode they are having a sleepover in spencers barn, the place where melissa and ian are now living. you see them all get together and fall asleep then they wake up and allison is gone, she goes missing for a year. then they find her body buried. shes dead.
the 4 other girls keep getting texts and messages from A whom they assume is allison. the messages are all about secrets that only she knows and new things that no one could no unless you are spying on that person.
the whole show is them trying to find who the killer is.
they first think it is toby bc supposedly allison saw toby and his stepsister jenna being intimate. the 5 girls, before allison died spy on toby and jenna once and this causes a fire in toby and jennas garage causing jenna to go blind.
thats why they think it is toby or jenna.
then they think it is some other kid they go th hs with. i cnat remember his name, but they think he hit hannah with his car at a sleepover.
now they think it is ian, spencers brother in law.
its confusing, i would recommend trying to watch it from the beginning.

Do they have the series on DVD yet? How can I get caught up?
How does the BIL and her sister play into all of this?
The episode I just saw was the BIL giving something to Jenna (the blind girl)- wondering where that was going...
Its all very confusing... Who do you think A is?

Its all very confusing... Who do you think A is?
"A" sent the girls a video of Allison the night that she disappeared and when the camera turns around, it turns out that the BIL was behind the camera.
Then you can hear an altercation off camera, and next thing- you see Allison(identified by her "Allison" bracelet) on the floor.
Also - Spencer had a mini fling with the BIL (when he was just a BF)...but sister doesnt know...
There are tons of secrets within the show that you kind of forget who knows what...

the show is based on books - so you can google "Who is A?" and it will tell you who is A in the books....but my guess is more than likely the writers of the show will change that up a bit...
