Finally, at 2 years 8 months
My DS is no longer taking his bedtime bottle! I know, I know...but I never got up the nerve to cut out that last bottle. The routine of bottle/teeth brushing/stories worked so well, and we have just been happy that he no longer needs us to stay in the room until he falls asleep. Well, on Christmas Eve he came down with a pretty nasty cold. While I felt so horrible that he was sick throughout Christmas Eve & day, him being sick is what stopped the bottle. He was so congested at night, he didn't want it. And once he was better, he never asked for it again. This is great! Now, we need to get rid of the paci and get him into underwear...small steps, right?

I am so jealous. DD is 2 years and almost 8 months and still is addicted to her baba. I just can't take it away and hoping to have her kick the habit before she turns 3 and the new baby arrives.
