finally called doc about DD"s sleeping/gas issues
the nurse returned my call- the doc said:
"give her mylicon"
now why didn't i think of that in the past 15 weeks (insert extreme sarcasm here from a mom who hasn't had more than 3 hours of consecutive sleep in 15 weeks and also has a DD in her terrible twos)

you can also try probiotics. If you got anitibiotics during labor than so did baby and therfor all her good gut bacteria which breaks down gas is gone....

you can also try probiotics. If you got anitibiotics during labor than so did baby and therfor all her good gut bacteria which breaks down gas is gone....
I never heard of this- my DS has had alot of gas issues and I was group strep B positive so I received antibiotics during labor. I'm going to ask my ped about it.

I did not receive any antibiotics this pregnancy. maybe i will look into it anyway since she has made zero sleep progress

My DS has gas, sometimes extremely painful, I'm waiting for his appt. next week to talk to the doc., but in the meantime I watched some videos on YouTube about infant massage and techniques to help with gas. My DS seems to really enjoy it and it helps a little. The first time I did it, he had a nice surprise for me in his diaper shortly after!

I still swear by chammomile tea. It's worked for DS when Mylicon and Gripe water didn't.
