FINALLY FINISHED! got pack-n-play and everything else for Scone
.... and even did all of Scone's laundry today!
I'm especially proud of the pack-n-play selection. after changing my mind a dozen times, I just ordered the laura ashley cantebury graco model.
It's a discontinued pattern, so I got it at albee baby for $140 instead of $200! Also, the pattern is gorgeous. mom's house is very elegant / traditional. The pack-n-play will be in a room with dark distressed hardwood floors and will sit near a tapestry... check out the pattern (below)! it totally goes with everything

I also fought (and lost, of course) the BRU return monster. Apparently, I'm not allowed to return something on my registry if my registry # was not given when the items were purchased.... Nice, huh? What @-holes. In the end, they only took back $15 worth of pacifiers. 
We also made out with labor day sales, and got 20% off of our carseat base at buy buy baby 
Oh, and while Mom and I did all of that shopping, DH did about 5 loads of scone laundry!!!! Everything for the first 3 months had it's initial washing

Isn't it a great feeling??? I felt that way when I finally finished the nursery last week and put away the last of the laundry into her drawers.

well, I folded everything last night and BOY did it take a long time  I guess if a huge hamper is filled with tiny things it ends up taking longer....
Today is the big day to finally put it into drawers and organize one more time.
I'm proud to say that our regular weekly cleaning is almost done (did it early this morning, and DH did his 1/2 yesterday)... so today is really just for Scone organization.
It's a wierd feeling (sort of like after the end of wedding planning) to NOT have to look up something only and try to find the best X Y Z. I feel like I have nothing to do anymore 
o'yeah! I have a ton of stuff to do at work! THAT'S right
