FINALLY got a good night of sleep
I left work at noon yesterday because I had spent half the night awake and sobbing ... just being SO FRUSTRATED with my lack of sleep as of late ... and to top it off, DH has a terrible cold so he's been snoring. Between trying to get used to the stupid Snoogle, wearing ear plugs to try to drown him out and being so exhausted I wound up in hysterics somewhere in the 4:00 am hour yesterday morning.
I went home (as did DH) yesterday around noon and took a nice nap, and wouldn't you know it ... I actually got a decent night's sleep last night!  I mean, pre-pregnancy it would have been a bad night of sleep, but I got about 5.5 solid hours and 2 hours of on and off sleep ... I am THRILLED.
I feel like a human being again! I could weep with relief.
Just wanted to share!

Thanks girls! If you see my recent posts they are all about my abysmal lack of sleep so I'm rather excited. It's almost 1:00 and I'm not drowsy (yet) - huge accomplishment!
I hope I can keep it up!

yay!!!! I know its hard but the nights you can't sleep try to relax and not get yourself so upset. I was going through the same thing a few weeks ago (right down to my dh snoring). Once i would get myself upset there was no going to sleep. I find that going on the couch and reading or watching tv helps and I eventually just pass out!
