Finally got blood test results
I have been so nervous. She said my progesterone levels are a little low (12). They like it to be around 15 or higher, so I have to take progesterone suppositories 2x's a day She said beta was great. Has anyone had to do this? Any info/advice is appreciated. I am such a nervous nelly!

the good beta means that you're still very much pregnant, now all you have to do is take the progesterone to help your body support the pregnancy. sounds like your doctor is well on top of things, so please try not to worry... although i know that is easier said than done (i took pregnancy tests every few days for weeks just to convince myself!  )

My girlfriends progesterone was very low...6 and her beta was fine. She started on the suppositiories and is now 10.5 weeks and everything looks great. As long as you start the progesterone ASAP you should be good especially since your beta is great. Congrats!!!

I've used them - they are not a big deal. They can get a little messy so I suggest using panty liners.

Just to warn you the suppositories can cause some cervix irritation so if you have some brown spotting don't freak out but do let the doctor know just in case. congrats on the great beta.

I was on them. My progesterone fluctuated and when it got down to 11 or 12 the dr. put me on the suppositories. You'll most likely have to only be on them until 12 weeks. I believe after that, the placenta takes over.
