Finally scheduled appt. with RE
We're going to Cornell on 11/12 at 8:15 AM. I am so nervous but looking forward to starting the next step.
Anyone have any advice? Thanks ladies.

G/L Hollie! DH and I sat down prior to our appointment and wrote a list of all the questions we had that we wanted to get an answer from the doctor on.

Re: Finally scheduled appt. with RE
Congratulations for taking that big step.
I would suggest that from this point on, write down anything and everything you possibly can that you would need to ask your doctor. I would also make sure you have any pertinent medical records with you or sent there in advance for the doctor's review.
Go informed - don't go afraid. Their goal is to get you pregnant.
Good luck - Ed and I are rooting for you!!!

I agree with Leslie!! Write down everything and discuss any little symptom, even if you don't think it matters toward PG. You never know how it can help. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

I agree...I would write down, almost journal style, after each appt. I felt strangely excited after my first RE appt. b/c I felt I had a plan of action, but I was nervous at first too.

Re: Finally scheduled appt. with RE
LaurenExp has a list of good questions for an RE you should FM her.
I recommend getting copies of all your bloodwork/lab results. Should you ever want to change Dr's or research something on your own you will have all the info you need. Cornell is very well respected so good choice!

Good luck Hollie!!!!
They might send you for blood work at their lab...they use a different scale for FSH (more detailed)....also, Dr Goldschlag is great but kind of quite, so ask a lot of questions!!!! you will LOVE him!!! he will probably give you an internal u/s as well (it doesn't hurt, so don't worry)!
