FINALLY went to White Post Farms today!
My 1st trip ever. DH is away, and Spiderman was there, so I figured I would do it today. I went with a friend whose DS is the same age.
For those of you with kids under the age of 3: You MIGHT want to consider skipping it.
I was so glad I waited until now to take Cailen. He would not have had fun if he were younger.
It is perfect for the 3 and up crowd - and man oh man - what a racket that place is!!!
They may as well put a dust buster to your pockets upon arrival, but since this is a once every 3 year adventure for us, I gave Cailen the full experience.

I'm glad you had a good time, but I disagree. My daughter is almost 2 and we've been there at least 3 times and she always has a blast!

I took Connor a few months before his 2nd bday and he loved it and was able to do so much. I hope to get back there with both kids soon.
It IS a racket! I grew up near there and remember when that place was a tiny farm stand with a few animal to pet
It's worth it though, clean, animal seem well cared for and kids love it.

Hmmm - guess I was wrong - sorry - scratch that! Cai would have had fun a year ago, but I feel he would probably get more out of it now then then.

I'm glad you guys had fun. I took Aiden for Christmas -- he was 15 months and he loved feeding the animals and the train ride. A little pricey but it was worth it!

I just went for the first time a few weeks ago too. DD was 28 months and LOVED it. She keeps asking me to go see the animals.

I'm glad you got there and had a great time!! I'm not sure I agree with the under 3 suggestion as we have been going since DD was about 12 months and she has always loved it. I think it really depends on the child.

We just took my 7 month old son and I think mommy and daddy enjoyed it more then he did! He had a few laughs but looked more shocked then anything.
Glad your son enjoyed it!

It is so much fun, but I disagree about the age thing. My son loved it from 1.5 yrs to 5.5 yrs and now , he has sort of outgrown it My dd still loves iT!

Re: FINALLY went to Whit Post Farms today!
We had DS's birthday party there on Saturday. The kids all had a great time, even my older nieces and nephews (8-11 years old). I think it's great for kids of all ages.

Re: FINALLY went to Whit Post Farms today!
I guess you guys are right - but I think for the money you spent there, 3 is a good age where they can really take it in and remember it. At 15 mts and up, we took Cailen everywhere, and he would have a blast at the supermarket or the farm near us for free.... KWIM? Not to mention they measure the kids before the can go in the bouncy houses and he JUST met the height requirement.....
He would have loved WPF at a year old and up, but to take him there and pay that price would have been a waste, at least for me, and for some of the moms who have posted they feel guilty that they never take their kids there.... So I will rephrase what I said - kids at any age will love it, but the price of admission (and the shake down you experience all throughout the day) is best suited for an older child - IMO....
