Finding a babysitter
How would you recommend I go about finding a babysitter for DD, not full time or anything but someone who could spend a couple of hours on a Saturday or a few hours in the evening maybe once a week.
I think DD is to young to be left with a teenager and I don't really know anyone in the area. My sisters are always too busy to help out.

craigslist!!!
for sure- i found my sitter there a year ago, and she is still with us today...hannah LOVES her, she loves hannah- she is a college student- she brings hannah gifts, gets her stuff for all the holidays...she is just amazing and i dont ever want her to get a real job!!! lol

ok I don't know anyne around there but I would def check out the websites I gave you my friend just found someone 8 months ago on care.com and they love her, and craigslist is good too

I don't think so, but not sure, I know it's free to find a job there so I think finding a babysitter is also free and I don't think my friend had to pay.

I'm afraid I don't have suggestions, but thanks for your post! I was wondering the same thing--it would be good to go out with DH alone again before DC is 12!

Well just a thought....my cousin goes to CW post & her major is early education. She babysits 2 boys (started when they were 3mths & 1.5 yrs) on weekends. She has many friends that are in the same boat as her, where they need extra cash & love kids plus its great experience for them too!
