How do you go about choosing a therpapist/psychologist to talk to?

IMO word of mouth...
If you have anyone that sees a therapist...ask for a recommendation

Word of mouth is probably the best way - It might be an uncomfortable and/or private subject to ask someone about though - If you have a friend or family member that is open about it, ask them -

word of mouth but I actually got a reco off this site by asking and I love her!!! She is in coram Im not sure where you are but fm me if you want details

You can try going through your insurance but you may not find the right person for you right away... I would say word of mouth too
