Finding daycare to work with my wacky schedule, Holbrook/Bohemia areas.
I need some help ladies. I have been traveling for work the last few months, and everytime I go out out town, I have been leaving DD with my parents (that's a long story I can't get into right now). Anyway...my parents have been wonderful with her. My mom still works FT and my dad drives for a limo company, so he basically takes the days off that DD is there to watch her. For the summer, he would take her to the free movies, the pool, the park, the zoo and he is having as good of a time as DD...I think he enjoys it even more With the winter approaching, he can't do all those things with her, and I don't want to keep him trapped in the house. I also don't want him to keep having to turn away work, just so that I can work.
I need to find a daycare situation near my parents that will be flexible. She is not with my parents the same days every week, nor is she there every week at all. It averages to about every other week for 3 days. Does anyone know of maybe an in-home daycare that would be flexible? My mom tried to look at Kindercare, but they could not accomodate my wacky schedule. I want her to be around other kids...not just a babysitter, because I'm not looking to replace my dad, I just want him not to have to do so much. My parents live in Holbrook...and my mom works in Bohemia, so something around those areas is what I'm looking for. Thanks!

I'll watch her and she can hang out with CHristopher
I had a hard time too when we were going to put Christopher in some place last Spring, the best we could find was a place in Nesconset that let us pick 2 or 3 days a week, but they had to be the same ones
