I believe between 16 to 20 weeks is the norm.

Yep. I hope to find out at my 16 week ultrasound next week, but it may be a little too early.

Re: Finding out sex question
When we went for the level 2 at 20 weeks, they said they were only 75% sure it was a girl, but said dont go out and buy everything pink. When we went for a growth scan at 28 weeks, they were positive its a girl. Basically, i think its easier to tell a boy from a girl

Are you sure you are having an u/s? I thought I was too but at 16 weeks they just listen to the heartbeat....

Re: Finding out sex question
For me, I noticed that if its a boy, its easier to detect earlier than a girl.
I went in at 13wks, my sono tech said nada. At 20wks, it was a girl.
I have heard around as soon as 12wks. though.

Positive. I get an u/s at 16 weeks to check my cervix b/c I had a cone biopsy a few years ago.
