finding polling site
I moved recently and can't seem to find the card I got with my polling site, etc. for my new address...
Is there a place I can look that up online? Or do I need to pull the house apart to find that darn card?!

You have to go to your county's board of election site and you can search there by your address. The only thing is that I really thought I was voting at a different place from where they say I am voting!!

No luck there. I am in Nassau County and there was no lookup on the web page. I even emailed the address they gave to find your polling site, but it comes back as undeliverable. I tried every variation of it, too.

It should be your local elementary school. Check with your new neighbors to find out where that is, and if it is in fact a polling place.

It's definitely not the elementary school. I remember it being some sort of church (Methodist, I think) on the card. I don't really KNOW our neighbors yet, but if I see someone tonight, I will ask them.
I will probably call the board of elections to ask, but something tells me I won't be getting through today.

That is so aggravating! I live in Queens and they say that I am supposed to vote at the local high school, but I swear we were supposed to vote at an elementary school!

Yeah, sorry. That was dumb. I thought I was being helpful, but it doesn't work for Nassau. Maybe because as the OP said, Nassua doesn't have a look up on their own site. Or maybe it's just dumb.
It doesn't work for Westchester either, but they tell you that & the site they direct you to does work.
