Finishing a hard wood floor
I know this is probably a general question, but does anyone have a guestimate on what it would cost to refinish a hard wood floor in 1 single bed room. It's maybe about 17'x13'

A few years ago (end of 2008), we did our formal living room, formal dining room, and 1 bedroom -- just refinishing and sealing (no staining) -- and it was under $1000.

We got a good price for 3 brs, living room and dining room so one room I would think would be a few hundred dollars... try Gold Star Floors, (516) 593-0215... they did a great job too! good luck!

I used Gold Star and paid $300 for 2 bedrooms and a hallway, all smaller in size, but it was the best price I got.
