Fire wood, tree logs...
I just had 14+ trees removed from my property and they left the piles of logs and such behind. Anyone know of types of companies that would actually want this stuff??? I don't know what to do with it all?? anyone on here need wood? please help!

Orange and Rockland cut down a few trees in front of my house by the road and two days later some guys came with their pick up truck and took them.

I know I have seen some posts on Craigslist for people giving the wood away. Maybe you want to post it on there....you might get some takers!

We had all of our wood removed right after the trees were cut. I was even able to have them move a huge limb that fell a few months earlier onto the pile that they were taking. How big are the pieces? Sometimes, people will take large trunks for carving. There is a person on the north side of Lake Ronkonkoma that carves tree trunks and sells them.
