First and Second Trimester- how often were your Dr appts?

Just curious as to how often you go in the beginning?
I had my first appt 2 weeks ago and my second this week...
How often do you go during your first and second tri?

OK that doesn't seem so bad then.
I went for the first appt at around 8 weeks and he wanted me back in a week for another sono and to order the bloodwork etc... but that fell on Thanksgiving week and the office was closed 2 days out of 5 so they put me in for this week instead.

I was wondering if I'd have to continue going so often.

I just HATE going to the Dr...

My schedule looks like this (the only reason: for the 6 week break is because we were OOT for 3 weeks since that was during the summer)

12 weeks
18 weeks
22 weeks
26 weeks
30 weeks
32 weeks
34 weeks
36 weeks
37 weeks
38 weeks
39 weeks (and hopefully that'll be the last one!)

1st - 5 weeks with NP
2nd - 8 weeks with NP
3rd - 11 weeks with DR.
4th - 12 week scan with DR.
and then one scheduled every 4 weeks. after that until the 3rd trimester
Then I was told it would be every 2 weeks when I hit 30 weeks and then when I hit 36 weeks it was every week. Then if you are overdue it is twice a week.

7w for first appt and sono
9w for blood work
12 w for ultrascreen
16w regular appt.
20 w for level II

I'm only 10 weeks, and I've gone 3 times, and I will be going back next week. It wasn't this many times with DS, but I think because I had a m/c they are trying to see me more often. I went at 9 weeks and she tried the doppler but it didn't work, so she wanted me back at 11 weeks to try the doppler again .. I just want to say do a sono lazy doctor! lol

I had quite a few in the beginning. My first appt was within a few days of my BFP. My OB did an u/s to help date the pregnancy since my cycles were really wacky but it was too early to see anything. Since my first blood test was positive, I had to go back 2 days later for another blood test to confirm rising hcg levels. They were rising so then I had to go back 2 weeks later for an u/s to make sure all was well, check for a HB, etc. That u/s revealed a heartbeat but it was slow, so I went back another week later to make sure it sped up. It did - at this point, I was 7 1/2 weeks. My next appt was not until 10 1/2 weeks. Subsequent appts were 4 weeks apart until recently. My last couple of appts were 2 weeks apart (would've been 3 weeks apart but I had an issue and had to move one up) - I'm 33 1/2 weeks now, no appt this week, will be 34 1/2 weeks at my next appt and I think I may be weekly from that point but we'll see...
