first appointment last night
I just went to my first Dr. appointment last night
He did an ultrasound but could not see anything; blood test results today put my hcg levels at 1456. I read somewhere that levels over 1000 should show something on the u/s - Anyone had similar experience. (I am about 5 weeks)
I am getting blood tests done on Saturday again and u/s will make appointment after the results for 2nd blood test

If you're under 5 weeks you still may not see anything so don't be too worried.

i've also heard that hcg levels vary so much from person to person that you can't relly go by them as to how far along you are, whether or not you'll see anything, etc. i think during the 5th week is when you can possibly see the egg sac and yolk. i just saw mine yesterday and i'm at 5 1/2 weeks.

5 weeks is really early for an ultrasound-- try not to worry. I am sure you'll see something at your next ultrasound.
