First Bday Ideas - mommies of boys

My DS bday is not until October and I plan on having a backyard party. I wanted to do something fall themed and am looking for any type of ideas...

oh that's a COOL time for a party..
i would get lots of pumpkins, have a pumkin picking party with face painting, costumes, apple bobbing.... stuff like that...
maybe you can even get some clean leaves and make a huge pile for them to jump in ... my kids LOVE to do that!
