First day at my new job....

and get this:

She slept til 9:30am (usually wakes at around 7:45-8 for me).

DH fed her at 9:30, tummy time/playing for a half hour, then she went down for a nap(?!!?). I stopped home at 12 to nurse her before heading to my new school- she had JUST woken up . Then, after I left, DH said she played for a bit and FELL ASLEEP til 3.

He was able to CLEAN the house, finish up some REMODELING he's been doing in the bathroom, washed and FOLDED her laundry, cleaned the kitchen, and even had time to wash and sterilize my pump parts and bottles.

I swear I know not to look a gift horse in the mouth, and I KNOW how lucky I am that he did all that- but I feel like I look like a sucky mom/housekeeper that I'm not able to get all this accomplished while he's at work and I'm home with her. She never naps like that for me- and believe me, I've tried.

To make it even worse-I got home at 4-and she was SUCH a crank for me all evening- yet, he'd take her from me and she'd clam right up.... He's so smug about that too- his little Daddy's Girl.

BUT- I am the only one who can *put her to bed* properly...

If DS is cranky with me and falls asleep with DH.... am I jealous? Heck no. I am not offended whatsoever.

OMG, I so know what you mean! Whenver DH stays w/ DS so I can run some errands or have "me" time, DS is an angel. Doesn't cry, fuss, anything! Not that he's that bad with me, but come on! I swear DH must thinK I am lying when I say I can't get certain things done! I usually call DH when DS is crying, as proof!!
