First Day of period
Ok, so i am having trouble figuring out the first day of my period. I'll apologize for TMI now...lol. So i spotted a very little on fri, sat and sun. i know this is NOT my "period" but Mon. before i went to work i started spotting a bit more (this is usual for me). I put in a tampon since I am a teacher and dont have the ability to make frequent bathroom visits to check if AF is heavier or not. When i change the tampon, it is very light and not full after several hours. The same thing goes for today. I am very regualr so i know tomorrow will be heavier and able to fill a tampon. Sooo, my question is, when do i consider day 1 of my period??? which is CD1 because i have been counting "mon." and after thinking about this would make my cycles off. Ive also been having issues with OPK bc i drink A LOT of water and cant hold my pee for 4 hours so they did not come up positive last month bc of this. I know i ovulated bc of temping. Sorry soo long! TIA!

I usually use the first day of spotting if I spot but honestly I don't know if that is right

You should count the first day of blood flow.

Yup first day of full flow, where you need more than a panty liner is CD 1.
