First day of shots--HELP!
I got my message while I was at a party and wrote what I thought the nurse said down. Her message was very quick and difficult to understand. I listened to it like 5 times. I also thought that when I got home I could listen one more time just to check everything but the message is gone now. Now that I'm looking at the meds with this list I made up I thought she said 3 menopur with one dilutant and one methadone???...which is not what I have here the closest thing I have is dexamethasone, which is I guess what she said I'm just freaking out that I'm going to take the wrong thing.

Does your RE have an emergency line you can call for after hours? They should have a nurse on call that could help.

Do you go to LI-IVF?
I know I had to take dexamethasone every night (starting the first night) while I was stimming.
She probably means 3 amps of menopur w/ one 'water' (the clear liquid)- you can use the Q-cap to mix them... I started on 3 amps of menopur as well and one dex. HTH!
If it is LI-IVF I know you can just call the office # and ask to speak with the nurse on call...

I don't know about an emergency line--I was never given a number. I go to LI-IVF. I'm thinking it's the dex...

It should be- b/c the doxycycline doesn't start until the day of retrieval.

FYI- you just call the office and you'll get their emergency service- you tell them you're doing IVF and that you need to speak w/ the nurse on call. (I've never called but this is what they always told me to do if needed!)
