First Dental Visit
When did you take your DD/DS to the dentist for the first time?? DD will be 2 next week and her pediatrician said I should take her for a check-up??

I took her at 2. They counted her teeth. We practiced at home. She'd look in our mouths, we'd look in hers and we'd practice counting. Used a light and all. haha

I didn't take her until she was 3 because the preschool gave me paperwork to have filled out. I should have taken her earlier. She loved it, what a fun experience it was! We went to a pediatric dentist and they made the whole experience stress-free and very fun!

DS will be 2 on the 18th and I just took him last month. They counted his teeth, checked for cavities and gave him a cleaning.

I took my DD at 2 years old also. It gets them used to the idea.

Took him at 22 months.. cleaned and counted teeth and flouride treatment.

Thank you ladies for all the great feedback. I think I will definitely try to take DD soon for a checkup. Hopefully it will be enjoyable for her as much as it was for all your little ones
