how did you know? i'm worried i won't see the signs 
it was wierd. there were no signs. he had a runny nose (clear) for a few days now but it was going away. then last night he woke up screaming and screamed for 2 hours straight. he's never done that before so i took him to the ped. and also my husband has pneumonia so it's like an infermary here!

Poor baby :( My son had double ear infections last week. It's horrible. Thankfully he started feeling better the same day we started the antibiotics.
