First fathers day gift ideas--help
I am giving him some newborns shots we had summer take and I put them on canvases. I need more of a keepsake idea

For DH's first Father's Day, I got him a gift cert. for golfing, a daddy book for him to read with DS and a onesie for DS to wear that said "my daddy is #1".
I didn't get him anything keepsake but maybe this can give you an idea.

I love the book idea, that he can read with her....any suggestions?

I got DH a bunch of books for him to read with DD, including a Star Wars one about space ships. I just went to the bookstore and picked a bunch out. He's in the room so I can't go check the titles, but I got him a Richard Scarry book because I know he loved him as a kid, I also got him a Sandra Boynton book about waking up because he usually gets her first in the morning, and a book about touching noses because he likes to take her nose. There are a couple others but I think you should just go in and see what reminds you of your DH - a bunch just popped for me. I also am planning to get D and A letters from Michael's and take 3 pics of DD with the letters and put them in a 3-part frame, to spell Dad - my friend does this for her DH every year and I think it seems cute. Also, he could use a photo of her for his office. HTH.

I got DH a personalized frame from Personalization Mall. It says Daddy and Me across the top and then it says 2010, Larry and Aaron on the bottom (the year is like a watermark). I also got him an apron that says Stand Back, Daddy's Cooking for when he grills.
