First haircut recommendation places in Suffolk
Ok, no FLAMES, but DS (who was 2 in January) STILL has never had a haircut...he has ADORABLE curls and even though our friends & some family members think we're nuts, DH, MIL and my Mom all LOVE it BUT its now spring time, AKA humidity, and gets out of control. Trust me, I know its overdue, but its too cute & curly!!!
So, my question, where is a good place (kiddie place) to bring DS? Also, I don't want the traditional little boy haircut, I want to keep his curls, just shape them a bit.
We're in Holbrook.
Thanks! Kerry

Re: First haircut recommendation places in Suffolk
I bring the kids to North Country Kids Salon in Miller Place. I actually heard about it through LIF and I really like it! I actually tried a few other places closer to home, and keep going back here. She does a great job!! (She did Leah's hair for Tara's wedding too!)

Oh, and she does a certificate for the kids first haircut too!

Hats Off in Bayport on Montauk Hwy -- they have an OCC motorcycle plus a toyroom while you wait and the ladies there are FANTASTIC.
(on second thought, it might be Top Hat?? -- it's between McConnell Ave and Oakwood)

There is a barber on waverly, right across from the burger king in by that bar. I think the cross street is buckley. I took ds there last weekend i have been asking dh to take him(not the point) but he goes there. The girl Erin is great with him, did an excellent job. 10bucks. He got a lolly after, and was thrilled.

Top hat is in Sayville on main street. This place is good too. My bros bff takes his son there. My brother used to go here when he was younger too.
