First internal today and it went ok but not great...

The baby is very high up. So high up that the doctor couldn't tell if it was breech. So she did a sono and the good news is that the baby is not breech. The only bad news is that there seems to be more fluid around the baby then there should be. Not too much that she is concerned about it but she said that is why the baby is so high up. And she said that because of the single umbilical artery she has to be more careful and more concerned than she normally would be.

The concern that I have is that Kiera was also very high up. Even when I went into labor she was still very high which is one of the reasons that after 2 hours of pushing I wound up with an emergency c-section. So my thoughts are am I going to have this problem again with this baby? And if so then I'm not going to do the VBAC, which I'm a little upset about. I go back next week and we'll see if the baby came down at all and if there is still too much fluid.

I also am not dilated or effaced so I am showing no signs of labor yet. The one good thing is that she confirmed that the baby has developed beautifully and the baby is actually in the 62 percentile for weight. So it wasn't a great visit but it wasn't awful either.

Im so sorry you have to go through all of this Im happy to hear the baby is healthy though and as much as it is hard to deal with another c-sec knowing your DC is doing well is great !!
