First internal today...what should I expect to go on???

Just had one yesterday from a stranger of a Dr at the hospital. They go in there literally all the way up and push your stomach down at the same time. It’s not painful but VERY uncomfortable. I feel violated when it isn’t my doctor doing them. 
ETA: DH even said the Doctor looked like she was hurting me. It didn’t hurt she was just rough and I felt so ugh after.

It's not bad at all. Uncomfortable for 30 seconds and that's it. They'll probably do the strep test as well, which is nothing. That you won't really feel. THe internal is fast and then it's done. You'll be fine

I always thought they were like regular GYN exams except you are a little more sensitive now.

Had one today. She just stuck her hand up there and felt my cervix. Said I am only a fingertip dilated.
But, yes, after you do feel a little crampy. Like someone p*ssed off the baby and it is geting some revenge by stretching out
