first, it was Ice Road Truckers...Now it's WILDCATERS? **UPDATE!!! THEY HIT PAY DIRT, DH is beside himself!
A few weeks ago I wrote about my DH's new obsession...the TV show, Ice Road Truckers. Tonight he discovered WILDCATERS, a show about drilling for oil, in Alaska.
What is with my Java programming DH watching shows about men driving trucks or drilling holes in the ground, when it is 30 below in the middle of an ice storm? W T H?

OK, I mean I moved to Orange County, NY from LI. I am NOT moving to ALASKA, or Yellowknife, Canada! I am putting my foot down.
If there were a show on the history channel about surfers in Hawaii with no shirts on...now there's a show I can sink my teeth into.

My daughter moved to Alaska...and she loves it! She has NO desire to move back to NY. I could never live there...she lives in Fairbanks and it has gone down to 50 below zero

DH just literally said to me and I quote:
" I really want these guys in Alaska to hit PAY DIRT. They are in a world of pain until they do. Ya know, I wonder how much money these guys make?"
Then he started talking to the TV again..."Dude, you have to move the drill to get pay dirt, come on! Come on Dude! If they end this episode without me seeing some pay dirt I am going to me pizzed!"
ETA: WTH is pay dirt ? It has to be oil right?
