first lego duplo set...not sure which one to get?

Was going to get dd who is 2.5 a lego duplo set. does it matter which one i get...and are there enough blocks in one set to keep her interested? do i need to buy a few? is there a basic starter one and accesseries ones I can buy? i have no idea. lol

I bought my 2.5 DD a couple of Duplo sets not knowing they were so different. I started with the "castle" one but found that she couldn't really put it together the way she wanted and needed too much help (we had to make the castle for her). So I went out and bought the alphabet one (which is basically square blocks with alpa letters on them and she enjoys those more since she can build towers easily and she uses those with the pieces from the castle ones as she gets better at it. The castle ones have odd sized pieces that make it harder for her. Hope that helps.
