First month off BCP on CD 39 with a ?

It is my first month off the BCP, I am on CD 39 with no symptoms of AF. I took 2 tests last week both BFN. On Saturday I started to experience sharp pains in my lower abdomen-it actually hurts if I sit down too hard.

Could I possible be ovulating now or could somethng be wrong?

This is my first month off BCP and my cycle is very long. I didn't ovulate until CD25. Have you had any other signs earlier in your cycle that indicate ovulation? I temp and chart so I was able to pinpoint it right away. But I did notice I got ovulation pains too.

This may be TMI, but have you noticed a change in your CM? That was another clear sign of ovulation for me.

If you do a search you'll find those first cycles after coming off BCP vary from a "normal" of 28 days to 45-50 days.

I wouldn't worry too much unless you were on BCP to regulate your cycle.

I would wait another two or three weeks and see what happens. If you don't get AF by then you should call your Dr.
